Program Overview

Our intensive Adult Program includes a strong, solid base of medical management, twelve-step recovery concepts, family involvement, group therapy, nutritional counseling, and experiential therapies. Individualized treatment planning allows for effective treatment of co-occurring disorders.

We have been working with co-occurring disorders for more than 20 years and have experience in the treatment of complex and difficult issues. At Cottonwood Recovery, we strongly believe in the treatment of mind, body, and spirit. Some of the issues we address include:

Our commitment to excellence is evidenced by our treatment program, which is comprised of a variety of treatment modalities and facilitated by our skilled and compassionate staff. Each patient is followed by a physician, psychiatrist, and primary counselor.

This multidisciplinary team works, together with the patient, to develop an individualized treatment plan. This plan provides a structure by which to help each patient achieve specific and meaningful treatment goals. Treatment modalities include:

Co-Occurring Disorders

We offer a unique and internationally respected approach to the treatment of co-occurring disorders. It is common for people to experience difficulties with psychiatric and/or addictive problems.

At Cottonwood, we value a holistic approach to treatment. A patient's medical, psychiatric, psychological, nutritional, and counseling needs are thoroughly assessed as part of the admissions process.

These assessments serve as a guide for the development and implementation of a patient's individualized treatment plan. The assessment process, however, continues throughout the course of a patient's treatment.

At Cottonwood Recovery, we respect your decision to seek treatment for yourself or a loved one. We understand that this process can be both difficult and overwhelming.

Our admissions counselors will work to provide you with support, education, and information that will aid you in this process. Admissions counselors are available to talk with you every day of the year, offering you consistency, respect, and confidentiality.

A thorough admissions assessment will allow our counselors to identify treatment needs and provide you with the best possible direction as you make your decisions.
